These Bay Area workshops are a space for people to work on skills and technique with rope bondage. Whether you've never tied a knot or have been using rope for years, show up, practice, learn at your own pace from your peers, learn out of a book, or learn what it feels like to be on both sides of the rope. You may attend on your own, or bring a friend or two to tie if you have them!
Practice sessions run once a month from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. in San Francisco and in the South Bay. No RSVP is needed in order to attend.
- The San Francisco workshop is held on the first Monday of each month, at the SF Citadel, 1277 Mission Street, San Francisco, CA. There is a recommended $5-10 donation to cover venue costs.
Notes:-
We're moving to the first (1st) Monday of the month starting with April 2007. We still have some fourth (4th) Monday dates left on the calendar, but by the end of the year, it will be all first Monday all the time! We'll be keeping the same time, 7:30pm - 9:30pm. Here's the schedule for the year:

About Loki, our founder:
Loki DMs at the Wicked City fetish club, the Scenery, and other events when possible. He has taken rope classes with Lou Duff and the Knotty Boys, among others, and is very proud to be a private student of Fetish Diva Midori. Loki is also a graduate of the Journeyman III Academy in Salt Lake City, Utah.
About Rae, our former SF host:
A former employee of both QSM and Stormy Leather, Rae volunteers with San Francisco Sex Information and is active with the Stampede. She studied rope with Lou Duff and Fetish Diva Midori, as well as other Bay Area bondage riggers. Her unique expertiese lies in the dyeing of rope fibers, and she rarely is seen tying with white rope. She hopes to maintain the inviting and open energy that Loki started with the workshop and tie up a lot of people while doing it.
About Lane, our SF host:
Lane is a graduate of San Francisco Sex Information's Sex Educator Training
and Midori's Rope Dojo. She's inspired by the rope work of DeLano, David El,
Bridgett Harrington, Midori and James Mogul and is a regular participant of
national bondage events including Shibaricon. Lane was recently tapped to fill
the hostess role at Rae's request and looks forward to meeting new people who
share her passion for rope.
About Jon, our SJ floating host: Jon will write some sort of bio really soon now *poke..poke* Part of his overbooked life is an active presence in the local leather community. If you keep a sharp eye out, you can spot him regularly attending local leather events.
